About us
Activcore is different. You are not just a number and a body part. Since 2004, we’ve been delivering elevated treatment experiences where the physical therapist stays by your side at every session to assess your whole body, find the root cause of your muscle imbalances, and customize a program for your individual needs, lifestyle and goals.
Everyone has a pelvis, so just about everybody could benefit from better pelvic health. Many physical events (injury, illness, surgery, pregnancy, etc.) tend to pull your body out of balance and into a cycle of pain and dysfunction. Your pelvis often plays a vital role in this, as the center connection point between your upper and lower body. It is core to the way you move, breathe and regulate normal bodily processes like voiding urine. Do you need to relieve pelvic, back & hip pain? Do you need to develop core strength? Do you need to improve sexual function? Do you need to regain bladder & bowel control? We are here for you!

Our Founders
IAN KORNBLUTH, CO-FOUNDER
Ian’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from growing up around the family business — a small chain of “New York” style pizzerias in Phoenix, Arizona. Early on in life, Ian learned how to treat the customer like a person, not like a number. He observed how the community came together to support an establishment that offered both quality food and an exceptional customer service experience. He also learned to appreciate the amount of integrity, sacrifice, and perseverance that it takes to make a positive change in the world around him.
Focusing on his interest of the human body, Ian pursued a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Arizona. He then attended graduate school in New Jersey to earn his Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Rutgers University, graduating with a 3.9 GPA After graduation in 1999, Ian worked at a popular national PT chain for 5 years. He became the youngest facility manager across the company.
Despite achieving such early success in his career, Ian felt something was wrong. While juggling 20+ patients per day with his administrative tasks, he would often ask himself, “Is this why I became a physical therapist?” Eventually he became frustrated and burnt out by the conventional PT model where emphasis was placed on quantity over quality of care.
As a working therapist and manager, Ian learned a hard reality of the profession. Shrinking insurance reimbursement forced clinics into scheduling a large number of clients each day. This high-volume approach made it impossible for him to make the kind of impact he wanted on people’s lives. So Ian made a courageous decision. He would create a new type of healthcare delivery model, operating outside of insurance, where he could make a difference for each individual.
Subsequently, in 2004, Ian ventured into uncharted waters by opening his first practice in Princeton, New Jersey. This revolutionary, value-driven concept offered a more personalized physical therapy experience. Everything revolved around just one person at a time for the fastest results possible.
Pioneering a new concept presented many challenges for Ian in the early years. Most of his colleagues said that people wouldn’t dip into their own pockets to get better quality care. But Ian didn’t give up on his entrepreneurial dream. Eventually, with the support of the local community, his business thrived and expanded into multiple locations.
Today, with 8 practices in Colorado, Georgia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Ian spends most of his time inspiring physical therapists to stand apart from conventional “factory style” PT. He believes that physical therapy can be delivered in a better way, and that you shouldn’t have to settle for the status quo. Ian lives in Scottsdale, Arizona where he supports each Activcore team by remote.
JAMIE KORNBLUTH, CO-FOUNDER
Jamie is a very active person who role models the Activcore Way in the community. Whether she is playing tennis as part of the Arizona Tennis Association, chairing committee meetings for Congregation Beth Israel in Scottsdale, participating in The Women’s Leadership Institute of Phoenix, or teaching Pilates to the local residents of Paradise Valley — Jamie is motivated to stay healthy and physically active for life. With a background in science and a strong sense of community, she inspires those around her to do the same.
Jamie holds a Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Maryland, and a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University. She also has multiple 500+ hour teacher training certifications in Pilates from the Body and Science International (BASI) and Pilates Sports Center (Remedy Pilates) in Scottsdale.
Her treatment style is eclectic with influences from Pilates, Redcord and Yoga. While she still has a desire to work with clients, Jamie’s greatest strength lies in her unique ability to network and engage with people throughout the Valley.

“I have been a regular patient of Dr. Kristine Godsil for the last three years. While running Ultramarathons, playing competitive Ice Hockey, and jumping out of planes has taken its toll on my body, I can always rely on Kristine to get me back to tip top shape and ready for the next challenge. Kristine has routinely prescribed corrective exercises and performed both manual and dry needling therapy. Dr. Godsil is unique to other physical therapists as she continues to provide the right education in order to prevent the same injury twice. I highly recommend Dr. Godsil to competitive athletes, military personnel, and all others looking to optimize their athletic performance.”
“After daily abdominal pain and discomfort for over a year my doctor sent me to Ashlea at Activcore, a pelvic floor specialist. After 5 appointments I have been pain free for 3 weeks. She has always been professional and caring and I can’t recommend her enough.”
“Activcore is an excellent place for physical therapy and performance enhancement. I’ve made beneficial changes in my body in a short amount of time with the therapists and performance training. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!”
