Hi, I’m Megan… the lone mama behind CanvasMOON. While on maternity leave with my twins, our family moved to a farm. Long story short, I didn’t return to my job in Saskatoon. Instead, I began making items for my kids as they grew, using materials I could find around the house. Much of the wood I use in my products has been from my own yard, scraps, leftovers, and reclaimed to be given new life!
I have always wanted to sell the things that I make for myself and finally felt like I had found a unique item in the kids play tent. I made a few for family members and started up an Instagram account so I could reach others, with the intention of providing items that would help bring peace and joy and beauty to the homes of others. One thing I was not expecting is all the amazing connections and sense of community that has come along with it!
